Good God man, the cartels have infiltrated the Mexican government, Mexican law enforcement and control much of that government. Everyone is paying the cartels, from the cab drivers to the hotel chains.

Even if we include the entire nation and the dangerous areas I wouldn’t go, can you advise how many American tourists have been killed, compared to the number of American tourists who have visited without being killed. Then we’ll be able to determine whether a week in Mexico is more or less dangerous than driving to the airport to catch the flight.
