Dozens of teens and teachers froze as they say 40-year-old Ronette Ricketts began viciously stabbing fellow English teacher Cynthia Glozier. 3 wounds to the head, 2 puncture wounds to the neck, a dozen more to her back and body.

It feels like centuries since I was little. I can remember back to 1981,maybe part of 1980.

Ricketts is from a vitamin D deficiency.
I just looked it up and it doesn’t affect adults,according to Wikipedia.
For someone who lives in Florida I’m awfully pale. I’m mostly German so I burn easily.Very easily. You should see my grandfather! He’s very white and he and my grandmother have been here for 20 yrs.
I’m not racist but I can’t help but wonder what is going on with Black people.
The thug culture with the rap “music”,pants hanging off the butt,gang banging and the terrible butchering of the English language.
I know there are good Blacks,too,and this kid seems like one of them. He should be applauded for what he did.
Because,as we all know,it’s only the whites who are racist.

The riots at stores to get some toy or some new shoe, the shootings the roller rink in Detroit, the shootings at birthday parties. What a screwed up culture! I seriously think obama/holder/etc. have made things worse. It’s almost as if someone said, “Anything goes, folks. Do what you feel like doing. Tear things up. We’re in charge now.”

Ricketts...Always believed Don was a good comic, albeit edgy.

It takes a special sort of rage to go and stab somebody several times. Usually it’s either Schizophrenia or relationship issues of some sort that motivates people to do that.
That’s not to say that somebody with Schizophrenia is inherently more dangerous, but when they do go off the rails, they can do terrible things.
In this case, I think we can do better than to assume racism.
It was said in the article that the stabber was afraid of losing her job, but the puzzled administrator said there was no threat to her job. I have seen several instances when people drove themselves to nervous breakdowns because they *assumed* the worst, in the absence of any evidence.
And none of them showed the stress until they lost it. They keep it bottled up until they freak out, one way or another.
In this case, the administration, other faculty and students liked both teachers. The stabber probably had the screwdriver in her purse for years, strictly for self defense. This is very common.
Then for some reason, the stabber got it into her head that she was going to be fired, probably months ago. Her stress level built up so much that just about anything could have set her off.
The stabee noted that she missed a staff meeting, and that she shouldn’t do that. Boom.
It might not have been a racist attack but you know darn well that if the white teacher had stabbed the black teacher all hell would break loose.
Can’t forget the flash mobs.
