POTUS arrives in Hawaii

HONOLULU -- President Obama arrived here late Friday to join his vacationing family in Kailua.

Air Force One touched down at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickham just before 6 p.m. local time (that's 11 p.m. on the East Coast) after a nine-hour flight that included an off-the-record stop by the president in the press section of the plane. His motorcade reached the home where the family is staying at 6:45 p.m.

Bo the dog was also spotted running around aboard the plane.
