It’s the opposite effect here. Get behind a vehicle going s-l-o-w and chances are, it’s a van or truck being driven not by elderly, which was almost always the case up to about a decade ago. Now it’s hispanics. Afraid of being pulled over. Shhh, don’t tell anybody, but it’s regarded as suspicious behavior to be driving hypercautiously and under the speed limit, particularly on interstates, which have a minimum speed limit in addition to a maximum speed limit, with vehicles required to give way and move right for overtaking vehicles regardless of speed. Not that anybody pays any attention, they still hang out in the far left lane with their turn signal on for miles, lol.
