“ABC Family Channel” was one reason I told my husband we couldn’t rent a beach house this past fall unless he could disconnect the cable. “Cartoon Network” was another. We did have TV and cable (later when we finally could afford it), but my boys still laugh about how I used to turn it off and tell them, “boys belong outside, playing”. We should probably form a Mean Mommies Club and compare how our kids turn(ed) out compared to the Nice Mommies Club.
