That's why black Americans don't celebrate Kwanzaa.
It's sad. Every American school child learns about Kwanzaa and is given the false belief that it is a widely celebrated holiday and an important part of black American culture.
It's not. American retailers know the truth. They know who buys Kwanzaa merchandise and they came up with a number that barely 250,000 people celebrate this holiday. NPR estimated that a mere 1-2% of black Americans celebrate Kwanzaa. In truth, probably more Americans celebrate Festivus.
Did you see any Kwanzaa merchandise for sale this Christmas? I didn't. That's because nobody is buying it. Nobody's buying it because nobody celebrates it. If the stuff sold, retailers would keep it on the shelves, you can guarantee that!
Yet we'll talk about the rich tradition of Kwanzaa year after year...
I won’t repost the pic, but it’s funny and true -
Kwanzaa - a fake holiday celebrated by liberal white elementary school teachers.
That was very well worded; the store shelves are where the Kwanzaa hoax is exposed.
5 black Muslims in a tenement basement in Oakland do not a holiday make.
