You might consider that you’re posting to a public board. For my children’s benefit I try to get them to read FR. It’s rare that kids get the conservative side of the media and the comments for the most part are illuminating.
I don’t wish to intrude on your liberty to use vulgarity, but that then limits the liberty of others to read thoughtful and not vulgar comments.
Vulgarity is common enough, but it’s common because it is cheap and the language of the illiterate. A literate person, such as you, has a vocabulary sufficient to express any emotion without resorting to vulgarity.
I have noticed a HUGE increase in vulgarity here on Free Republic that would surely get your post removed and yourself banned ten years ago. I have even seen this site’s boss post them. I’ve even done it myself on certain threads when my anger flared.
My resolution this year is to knock that off. Who will join me?
I recommend Free Republic to my friends, neighbors, and family. When I see vulgarity on the threads, I am far less likely to do that.
It's a shame, too, because the posters here on Free Republic are most often far more insightful than anything found either in the article or anything found on talk radio or Fox.
