Well your warm days are probably gonna be disappearing real soon. On the North American Continent, the source of most climate is the Eastern Pacific Ocean temperature and the resulting weather patterns over the Western Mountain ranges. The Eastern Pacific and Western mountains have been cold for a couple of months now. We are real tired of that cold now, so it is headed your way :>

Coldest December in San Luis Obispo in 40 years? Probably

Greenhouse gases absorb outgoing radiation, then heat the rest of the atmosphere. Where scientific uncertainty lies is how much extra warming there will be from the increase in CO2. A reasonable expectation is a degree or two C which is mainly beneficial.

The east coast freeze will be pretty typical and is actually overdue this year.

Newt flipflopped on this too. He was for GW and Cap-and-trade (”i strongly support it” in 2007 interview) before he was against them.

Anyway, vote for Newt is vote for Willard.

Only 50? You can get more signatures of people believing in UFOs. The Global Warming Cult is obviously desperate. Soon we'll see fake control towers and runways like the Cargo Cults of Borneo.

My guess is the solar activity delayed the real bad winter that the cold Eastern Pacific was going to deliver in December. That bad December showed up in the west because the west is more affected by the cold ocean. The plains are more affected by the atmospheric temps. Those atmosphere temps probably have a much quicker response time to solar changes. The oceans lag by years. Atmosphere lags by months. At any rate, the cold Pacific will be making news the next two months. Typical winter, but there will be some real nasty short bursts of cold. We had one of those cold storms role over So Cal about a month ago. Actually traveled south from the high desert and came down over the mountains and was very cold. Caused a bunch of hail down in Orange County.

That is utter BS!

Sky-high hole blown in AGW theory?

NASA satellite data from the years 2000 through 2011 show the Earth’s atmosphere is allowing far more heat to be released into space than alarmist computer models have predicted, reports a new study in the peer-reviewed science journal Remote Sensing. The study indicates far less future global warming will occur than United Nations computer models have predicted, and supports prior studies indicating increases in atmospheric carbon dioxidetrap far less heat than alarmists have claimed.

I agree with Spencer's study that you linked. In a nutshell what he shows is that some of the 20th century warming came from changes in cloud cover which were driven by El Nino. Essentially a lot of the temperature run up in the 80's and 90's before the more recent pause was from less reflective (of sunlight) clouds and heat trapping clouds.

But Spencer does not disagree with CO2 warming, far from it. His latest blog post http://www.drroyspencer.com/ shows, as he has many times in the past, that we can't get to the kind of warming we see on earth (33 degrees above the blackbody temperature) without greenhouse gases. After that the only question is how much warmer it will get with more CO2 Ans: not much unless we believe models. Spencer has spent a good deal of his career debunking the alarmist models.
