Newt explained that one of the people hired to collect 1,500 of the 11,000 ballots they turned in was a fraud and did not get actual signatures (10,000 are needed to qualify). Apparently by the time they figured this out it was too late to get more.
5 of the 7 current GOP candidates did not qualify for the Virginia ballot. Write-in votes will not be allowed.
We'll make note of that.
I kind of wish you folks who are so annoyed by that post would see what I’m responding to, but that’s asking too much I guess. Whatever.
Why do so many folks like you on this subject have to misrepresent what someone like me said in order to applaud yourself for you great compassion, when I said nothing at all like you imply?
All I said was his crying doesn't make me vote for or against him. Sorry basing my vote on the man's record is uncalled for, and that you think I should base my support on if a man shows he can cry in public or not as proof he's a conservative.
You didn't say that? But your response makes me think you don't care if people just make stuff up about other posters, so there you are. Happy now?
.
Great post.
I like dogs. I haven’t had one in years, but a friend trains dogs and is determined to get me another. I don’t like little dogs, though, they’re like rats, but I don’t like pit bulls, either. I’m also not into putting hats on dogs, those folks who do that creep me out.
Relying on a single person to collect all the signatures required in an area wasn’t smart. Whether just lazy or actively sabotaging (dirty tricks), I am disappointed in Newt if it all came down to one campaign worker.
I had read it was simply missing address info and a lawsuit had been filed because VA state law doesn’t actually require addresses on the petitions.
well let me tell you what’s going to happen then if we all took your advice,, the next Republican nominee will be Mitt Romney..
It was an onerous task that 5 of 7 candidates weren’t able to complete. The losers are the Virginia voters who have a very limited choice in the primary election.
Not sure how that happens when my advice would be to have all—that’s ALL—those running be replaced by actual conservative candidates, but if that’s what the voices in your head are telling you, I say go with it!
see that’s what I mean.. there is not going to be anybody else stop dreaming.. if you don’t want Romney DO SOMETHING that is the reality.. NOBODY else is coming along.. please Gawd understand this
Why do you say all that like it’s some big, amazing, reality-check revelation?
Yeah, I know all that. What has my posting that little wish done to harm you or me or anyone else? It’s merely a way of expressing a sentiment.
Why can’t you understand such a simple concept, and why are you getting all bent out of shape over absolutely nothing but a way of expressing myself that’s not the usual “This guy sucks”?
they all suck ok?,, welcome Republican nominee Mitt Romney
What planet are you on where Romney is not one of the Republican candidates?
Do you understand basic English? I said I don't like ANY OF THE CANDIDATES. Romney is ONE OF THE CANDIDATES.
Good God!
I tell you what if youdon’t want Mitt Romney go ahead or if you want to see him nominated voted for somebody other than Gingrich..
You’ve lost it.
And I ain’t voting for New Age, Big Government, Romneycare-Loving Newt.
well good for you.. Mitt Romney thanks you
You forgot to call me an Obama supporter. Just a friendly reminder.
They’ll throw everything they can at him in SC and FL as well, you can bet in that for sure. It’s going to take an incredible amount of counter attack by Newt and his supporters to keep him afloat here in SC and in FL. I wish him well; he’ll be getting my vote.
