“Who here has ever been out and suddenly “realized” that he was carrying a sidearm?”

It was a .32. There are some pretty lightweight .32’s on the market. She likely had it in a purse with a bunch of other stuff. They make purses with holster compartments that carry a gun properly. The weight of a light .32 would not be noticeable. So, “out of sight, out of mind” till something reminds you of it...like a mugger or a sign.

Have you ever left your house, especially to travel to another city, and forgotten that you were carrying? I bet you never did. In fact, based on your silly “it’s so light” excuse, my bet is that you do not carry at all.
