The Saudis are spending billions to spread their virulent and violent form of Islam, including its command to wage jihad against the infidel. The Kashmiri Sufis have trouble fighting back because all the forms of Islam that are labeled "Wahhabi" in this article are firmly based on the quran and Muhammad's words -- so what can the Sufis say when the Saudis bring all this in and overwhelm the cultural Islam of the Kashmir Valley with it?
Yet we still count the Saudis as a U.S. ally. The next President needs to make a thorough reevaluation of our foreign policy and energy policy in light of the jihad, and we should demand a promise to do this from the Republican candidates now.
