Instead they act like shrinking violets. I used to coach these dumb girls in the military: “Tell them to drop dead and turn on your heel and leave.” “Tell them they are a geek.” “Point at them and laugh hysterically” Most of these easy tactics got the idiots away.

Sergeants would come up to me and say stupid stuff like “Ma’am, I probably shouldn’t say this but” and I would cut them off with “then don’t”. I would walk away and close the door.

Well there was one Colonel that kept following me around and asked me out my first week on duty. I went to my adviser (I was in a school) and asked if I had to go out with him, then another young officer told me the Colonel was trying to “get over on” me, so I finally told him no.
