Perhaps it depends on the individual. I have unsuccessfully tried the Atkins diet twice.
I am not a believer in the "eat right for your blood type" hype but some people do better on a high meat diet and some do better on a high carb diet. We were not all punched out of the same mold.
You need to try different diets until you find the one that works for you
