In the U.S.A. the Constitution mentions a "generic" God
Actually, there is no mention of God at all in the US Constitution. Compare that to the more socialistic constitutions of certain European countries, which actually do mention God; the US constitution evades hypocrisy by comparison to them.

Israel's government was a renegade government…they demanded(of Moses) that GOD setup a government like the gentiles (with a King)
Actually, they demanded it of Samuel, not Moses. But God did predict in Moses' day that Israel would one day desire a human king and gave instructions for setting up such a system in Deuteronomy 17:14-15—the king had to be chosen by God. The rule of David was not "renegade", which implies total rebellion against God.

[ Actually, they demanded it of Samuel, not Moses. ]

True.. and since most of christianity’s hierarchy is based somewhat on Isreal’s priesthood.. it is renegade as well..

Israel thoroughly proved they could not handle governmental affairs.. several times..
Jesus came to make ALL religion obsolete... AND DID...

You would think atheists would be grateful.. but they are not..

You have discerned the key issue. In every authentic revolution the cause has not been ideology but rising expectations being frustrated, suppressed or otherwise obstructed by the party in power. China has a huge population for whom the genie is out of the bottle, the middle class is in sight, and they will not return to acceptance of the austerity of their parents' miserable existence under the orthodox command economy.

As an aside, it is instructive to see the current Occupier insurgency in the US through this lens. Agitation and organization is one way to stir rising expectations/entitlements in the masses.

This is why I have maintained that far from being a nostalgic gathering of benign hippies, Occupier actions were a mere rehearsal or exercise to iron out the wrinkles in the organization of mob actions and violence to come next summer.

Interesting. I'll check some of that up later. So Lenin was a centralist and thief (like all these type are) but he was also a pragmatist economically, seeing the need to allow a degree of “free market.” In that sense, as you state, the Chi-coms are essentially doing exactly the same thing. MOST of the economic growth is either directly or indirectly tied to the small portion of money their more “free” market activities have.

For the Chi-coms, our debt and them buying it, them pimping out their own population as cheap labor is nothing more than a tool to catapult them forward economically (industrialize)and technologically(mechanical/electrical engineering, bio tech, nuclear etc etc etc).

***Today, we are the Indians selling the kingdom for a shiny cheap toy that isn't worth much.***

We're just too greedy, short sighted and in a state of disbelief (ignorant bliss). The capital machines that are exported (machines to build stuff), the direct investments that also drive real infrastructure development (unlike the BS we're doing in the US with stimulus money that ends up building bridges to nowhere- no real supply and demand function as witnessed in all these “public transit programs” that get stimulus money and every last one, all of them in this entire country are broke! Every last one is getting money infusions from the fed, state, cities or a combination thereof to stay afloat usually in the form of some sort of transfer payment that is like a shell game and the people in the region don't even know nor have an option), the transfer of technology with firms like IBM/Cisco/Boeing (take a look at every single Cisco router and where it's made today!), the teaching of US style management and business practices is what they are really after. They see our debt as an investment in themselves and while Americans are studying the soft sciences and talking about their feelings, kids from China are sent to US colleges and universities on a mission to study what the regime in Peking has identified as critical skills needed for their war machine and economic advancement. Some of these middle aged men and women that come here as exchange students are members of the PLA as was the case with a major who went to a school I went to and was studying mechanical engineering. Of course they wear civilian cloths, of course they won't run around advertising what is going on, but upon closer inspection you will find that many of these “exchange students” from china are essentially people that work for their government or are in their military and have been sent here to acquire specific skills they should bring back home in physics, bio tech, mechanical/electrical engineering, chemistry...

At this point the US has lost control and the Chinese know it. Even if we decided to impose some sort of sanctions as they bring down a P3 or back N. Korea; Europe, the Middle East, our own allies like the Israeli's will continue to do business with them because our issues are not their issues, they see the world nationally and regionally, at best. Our own internal political process where politicians like Boxer made their entire family fortune from trade with the Chi-Coms, Clinton that received campaign contributions, and all the way down to the average American Joe that today buys American flags made in China, America is herself addicted and somewhat dependent on “made in China” at this point. There is a reluctance to take action if not out of greed and selfish reasons, then because of the size implications and immense proportions any conflict with China would pose for us. From Mexico downward, Chinese products are exported globally and while WalMart is a huge merchant, they are only so huge because they are a singular merchant, unlike the trade you now have emerging with Europe and elsewhere. The true significance of US export is a bit skewed by having a few very large firms doing most this business and not including the full scope. More economically powerful, more politically regionally and globally influential (WTO, UN, etc), more military might, less dependence on the US = a more belligerent Communist China we have to deal with in the future. That simple.
