Did Iraq invite us in or Afghanistan? The way we get into other countries is by bribery of US aid. I can not imagine the founding fathers had that model in mind when this country began. We in a sense we give them money so they can buy our weapons. The US has never moved beyond the war time economy since WW2.

Has America sent combat troops anywhere since WWII without keeping the United Nations informed —in a real sense the United Nations has directed our actions more than our own govt. since WWII.

You may want to read a little thing called joint vision 20/20 the us department of defense blueprint for the future. "The ultimate goal of our military force is to accomplish the objectives directed by the National Command authorities. For the joint force of the future, this goal will be achieved through full-spectrum dominance the ability of U.S. forces operating unilaterally or in combination with multinational and inter agency partners, to defeat any adversary and control any situation across the full range of military operation.

Were you aware that in Oct of 63 JFK signed the NSAM 263 to with drawl the troop from Vietnam on Nov. 20 1963 the the JCS had a conference in Honolulu drafting the plan OPLAN 34A for the planning and escalation of troops in SV and by Nov 26 of LBJ wrote the NSAM 273 authorizing this action?

It looks like to me the military industrial complex does not give a damn about presidents and policy except their own plans. There was a study and talks that if we were to us atomic bombs the best time to use them would be at the end of 63 and that would involve a first strike against the Soviet Union and China. We had dominance at that time concerning atomic bombs.
