The suggestion that Democratic voters are more highly educated than their white GOP counterpart is easily refuted when you take a look at the makeup of actual voting precincts for white Democrats verses white Republicans. Most Republican Whites are either self employed or work in the private sector. Most white Democrats work in the public sector and /or are represented by a union. White Independents are more like their GOP counterparts, especially after nearly 3 years of the currect administration in the White House.
