A murder investigation is under way in England after a woman's body was found on the grounds of Queen Elizabeth's Sandringham country estate.
The remains were discovered on the vast estate in Eastern England shortly after 4 p.m. on New Year's Day, according to multiple reports.
Sky News reported that the body was found by a member of the public in woodlands in Anmer, a tiny village 115 miles northeast of London that is situated on the 20,000-acre Sandringham estate. The remains were reportedly located about a mile from the main gate to Sandringham House, where the queen spent New Year's Day.

Murder, most foul.
The butler did it.
Leaving a body on a Royal Estate is not the smartest way to not draw attention to your crime.
“The butler did it...”
I was thinking it was Colonel Mustard with a candlestick in the library.
Could one of the royals or their guests have mistaken the victim for a bird and accidentally plugged her?
Dr.Who’s Police box may have fallen on the unfortunate individual?
“What’s all this, then?”
Mark Fuhrman did a good job finding who murdered Martha Moxley. ..just reviewing old material, please forgive my digression.
“Look! I must warn you that anything you may say will be ignored and furthermore, given half a chance I’ll put my fist through your teeth. F’tang. F’tang.”
Richard III, is that you?

The body was found in woods just outside a town. The headline makes it sound like her body was found just outside the Queen’s palace.
Washington DC is 39,000 acres; Sandringham 20,000 acres.
Like finding a body in DC?
Kudos to you, sir!
“The body was found in woods just outside a town. The headline makes it sound like her body was found just outside the Queens palace.”
That’s what I thought, I guess it’s all the Queen’s estate...countryside of England that is, lol.
And now, Radio Four will explode.
HA!
“Still, it was not a well thought out body dump.”
Not very many are. Some, but not many.
