Nevada brothel backs Ron Paul
UPI ^

Posted on 01/04/2012 10:07:37 AM PST by mnehring

CARSON CITY, Nev., Jan. 4 (UPI) -- This endorsement might leave some wondering: Prostitutes at a brothel near Carson City, Nev., endorsed Rep. Ron Paul's bid for president.

Brothel owner Dennis Hof said he polled "all the girls" at the Bunny Ranch and the majority backed Paul, the U.S. representative from Texas who placed third in Tuesday's Iowa caucuses, The Daily Caller Web site reported.

"We thought real closely about supporting [Newt] Gingrich -- because he's a cheater -- and we like cheaters," said Hof, who gained celebrity status thanks to HBO's "Cathouse" documentary and series featuring his business. Nevada allows counties to license brothels.

A lot of the women supported Barack Obama in 2008, but then he signed a bill allowing for human consumption of wild horses and "the girls don't want any part of Obama," Hof said.

Hof said the ranch "decided to go with the guy that's more about state's rights -- and that's Ron Paul."

During January, he said he was offering a special -- two bunnies for the price of one, the Web site said. All a client has to do is come by and say "I'm pimping for Paul."

“If I had to choose between legalized prostitution or Socialism, I’ll take prostitution.”

You don’t have to choose between those two, however. You can choose to be a conservative. Free market capitalism AND pro-human social policy.

“Right? Really?

Just curious. Of drugs or whores. Which one is your favorite?

Or is special rights for gays up your alley?”

No no, it’s a love of patriots like Bradley Manning that drives him.

Harry Reid was supporting statewide legislation to outlaw brothels.

Drugs and prostitution are slavery.

In the name of “freedom,” libertarians support them. Orwellian IMO.

Everyone likes to talk about Paul’s “integrity.” If he had integrity he’d be running as a Libertarian. That is what he is.

After all, under a Ron Paul administration the whole country would get screwed.

Which would explain their '08 support for the Kenyan interloper. He's been screwing the entire country for 3 years now.

What could possibly have happened in Dennis Hoff’s and with his band of ‘ladies’ that could have led them to stoop so low?
This business is absolutely disgusting.

Paul teamed up with Barney Frank a few years ago supporting legal dope and legal hookers.

Even a stopped Frank is right twice a lifetime.

Right? Really?

Yup.

Just curious. Of drugs or whores. Which one is your favorite?

I don't like either - freedom is my favorite.

Or is special rights for gays up your alley?

I oppose special rights for anyone - including moralist statists.

BS.

What exactly do you claim is "BS"?

You just made a favorable compliment

"Even a stopped Frank is right twice a lifetime" is a "compliment" in your book?

to two of the biggest liberal whores in Congress; Frank and Paul.

Paul's 2010 rating from the American Conservative Union was 96%.

You are no conservative. Certainly not a moral conservative.

If a "moral conservative" thinks government should forcibly prohibit immoral acts that violate nobody's rights, then I'm proud not to be one.

Of course.

It is interesting that the drug cartels are opposed to Paul.

Hof said the ranch "decided to go with the guy that's more about state's rights --

What kind of stupid reason is that to decide who to vote for? sheesh.

The citizens of this country time and time again have voiced the opinion about the national standards this country has, from prostitution to drugs and for the most part, they reject it.

The supreme law of the land - the United States Constitution - grants no authority to impose "national standards" on prostitution or drugs.

Part of the freedom is the freedom to have these bare minimum standards versus anarchy.

Nonsense - genuine crimes with actual victims (murder, theft, rape, etc.) would remain illegal.

With both prostitution and drugs comes the criminal nature behind it, even when they are legal.

Is there a "criminal nature behind" the lethal addictive drug alcohol? Are you aware of how making that drug illegal worked out?

Go take another hit

I don't use drugs, illegal or legal (alcohol, tobacco).

of Dead Mexican. The Mexican orphans thank-you for your business.

Drug-war-inflated profits are what motivate and facilitate the orphaning of Mexicans and Americans.

Very often, strong advocacy of states’ rights can attract loonies who see the possibility of states having the freedom to legalize loony behavior. Legalizing weed is a good example.

Ron Paul/Airforce Amy 2012

Sadly, I understand that. I know a Cub Scout whose parents felt they were in such desperate times that she left the kids with the dad and went to the Bunny Ranch to work "for a month." She stayed about a year. The dad kept doing drugs at home and they just spent the money. Somebody named "Airforce Amy' befriended her. I don't ask questions because I don't want to know.

Why is relegalizing weed "loony"? Was relegalizing the drug alcohol "loony"?
