As a racial percentage, there’s a higher percentage of blacks getting welfare than whites. It’s an accurate assessment, not an incorrect stereotype.
Some black commentator mentioned this quote (without the remainder of the quote, of course), and hautingly said "Santorum's gonna have to ANSWER for THAT!"
As a corrolary, people use inaccurate stereotypes to bring others down.
Using stereotypes that are accurate is just stating the obvious truth.
This is a lie by the NALCP. Santorum denies saying this and there is no evidence that he did say “Black” in that talk. More MSM smears created out of whole cloth for a Conservative candidate.
Benjamin Todd Jealous needs to get his hearing checked ASAP. Santorum never said the word, “blacks” in his remarks.

O’Reilly brought up the exact statement on his much-touted “interview” with Santorum just now. The candidate just came from NOWHERE to practically win Iowa, Bill. You self-praised the interview after the “talking points” memo coming out of the break. THAT was the WORST “interview” I have ever seen.

This is why they wanted Cain out so bad, because this is one of only two or three cards they have this year, and they would have been denied that one right off. Santorum was just on O’Really on Faux and Bill aksed hom about the statement and he told Bill he did not say “blacks” and Bill admitted that he watched it and YES, Santorum did NOT say “blacks”.
