It is always fun trying to guess when Bear is going to jump off a cliff into water.
Or when his handlers have him drink some piss or eat some maggots. All just for the gross out effect.
Like I said, compared to Les Stroud his show is a con-job.
I like Grylls and his show, but it gets a bit tiresome when he goes into the “what am I going to eat and drink?-—I might die from hunger or thirst” routine. Why you just grab that steak sandwich or that bottle of Coke your cameraman is holding Bear, that’s what you do.
