oh AND I think Chicago is an Indian oops Native American name, so “land of the Chicagos actually does make sense, although this is a really dumb conversation

Uh, methinks he was referring to the sociopolitical content of other “istan” countries, to wit Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan - not exactly first-world economic powerhouses.
