Overall, 46% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's job performance. Fifty-three percent (53%) at least somewhat disapprove.
Hussein has been at -20 lately, so this is a disappointing number. It should be at -40 or lower.

For anyone wondering about Rasmussen’s targets for his polls, in regards to party affiliation, here they are:
Currently, the baseline targets for the adult population are 33.9% Republicans, 33.3% Democrats, and 32.8% unaffiliated. Likely voter samples typically show a slightly larger advantage for the Republicans.

Note to Obama. If you are at -17 on a good day, you are not in fact having a good day.
Obama has been keeping out of the news and that has been helping his numbers. Every time he speaks he makes enemies. Whenever he has been silent the GOP attacked their own and drive down the strong oppose number. Heck even I got depressed when Cain got trashed. Tuned out politics for a week.
The cuts to defense coming at the same time as Iran's activities in the gulf will get him back down to -20.

Do I approve of the roll Obama is playing? Is it an apple fritter? I love apple fritters. He could be a bismarck, too. They’re very tasty.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Obama is getting (or gets) a small bump from idiots who think cutting defense somehow means no more wars. Pathetic.

An insurmountable problem for pollsters is the number who claim no affiliation as well as those who are registered Dems but never vote that way.

Just as I predicted... little scotty rasmussen has started his sine wave polling back up... taking obama up to about -11 in a week or two.
