President Obamas recess appointment of three members of the National Labor Relations Board and Richard Cordray to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau continues to reverberate. The most compelling legal analysis on the subject is offered by conservative legal figures, most aptly today by Todd Gaziano of the Heritage Foundation and former attorney general Ed Meese:
Article I, Section 5, of the Constitution states that neither house of Congress may adjourn for more than three days without the consent of the other house. The House of Representatives did not consent to a Senate recess of more than three days at the end of last year, and so the Senate, consistent with the requirements of the Constitution, must have some sort of session every few days. The president and anyone else may object that the Senate is conducting pro forma sessions, but that does not render them constitutionally meaningless, as some have argued. In fact, the Senate did pass a bill during a supposedly pro forma session on Dec. 23, a matter the White House took notice of since the president signed the bill into law. The president cannot pick and choose when he deems a Senate session to be real.

You know that Obama has screwed up big time when even Jennifer Rubin takes a time-out from bashing conservatives to chastise him.

There are no acceptable excuses for this.
The very first move the Senate makes when they return should be to stop these appointments because they were done illegally.
The very first move the House should make is to impeach this lawless MF.
There is no way we can overturn the communists Administration with our dictator King Obama. It is too far gone. We will not have a Republican President this next term and that will be evident when we see a third party pulling votes from our candidate. We need Newt Gingrich as our candidate who would be best to crush King Obama with his communists tricks. The rate of buying votes by communists King Obama will speed up for the rest of his term. Fear we may be toast.
It’s almost like The Massiah is doing whatever he can to take attention back from the Pubbies. The Narcissus-in-Chief truly believes he is invulnerable to the mere mortals in Congress, who if they could muster a pair of cojones among the 435 of them, would impeach the SOB.
Come November 6, 2012 we must throw this Communist Dictator out! Then hopefully the new President will with the help of of a new Congress will put This Communist Dictator along with all of his cronies behind bars for 25 or more years.
And just what are the GOP elites & GOP members of Congress doing to even try & slow the dictator in the White House down? Absolutely nothing !
Their is a very real possibility that in the next few years of a second Obama administration (GOD help us) that we will see American citizens “disappeared “off the street & Federal law enforcement death squads roaming the country .
Don’t think it can happen , look at the OPEN MASS GRAVE that was the 20th century & how the dictators of Europe came to power & how they dealt with the trouble makers who didn’t go along .
Look extra hard at the various laws made just for state security & ask yourself :Since this country has rounded up folks who it thought were untrustworthy & put them in camps & it was proclaimed legal by the highest court in the land why would I think they wouldn”t do it again.
After all claiming that folks are being held in “Institutions for the care & custody of those who can’t adapt to the new political reality “ doesn’t sound so bad until you realize that it is in fact the mission statement for every Gulag, slave labor camp & Concentration camp that was ever built.
I have seen that animation before, and it always disturbs me. There’s just something about that slow morph from the demon to the current rodent that gives me the creeps.
I think the creepy thing about it is that is might just be true. I don’t believe he’s the devil, but he sure is a sold-out member of the infernal organization.
