TIPPECANOE COUNTY - Zoning officials have recommended Tippecanoe County commissioners grant approval for the Islamic Society of Greater Lafayette to build a community center and possibly a mosque in northwest Indiana.
The Tippecanoe County Area Plan Commission last week voted 13-1 to approve the plan, which still must meet commissioners' approval.
