I’m beginning to think that Ron Paul is simply Mitt Romney’s lackey, bizarre as that sounds. Why doesn’t Ron Paul go after Mitt?

Romney’s wingman.
My advice for Rick is to not laugh it off. Paul bites, and hiding isn’t going to work.

what is stopping the good guys from gathering Ron Paul’s nutty comments about 9/11, Iran, drugs, and racial issues - compiling it into a hit ad?
Is Paul going after Romney like this?

It is very possible that Ron Pauls mission is to do whatever it takes to help the democrat party and to damage conservatism. Ron Paul continually tries to corrupt the meaning of conservatism with his attempts to inject Code Pink talking points into it, and aligns himself with far left democrats on a host of issues (gay marriage, pro-choice at state level, anti-war, terrorist rights, etc
) and Paul serves to split the conservative vote to the best of his ability and now attacks conservative candidates as well.
In every way Paul seems to be a plant for the radical left-wing.

Is Paul a lifelong anti-conservative?
My cursory look at his lifetime of being a political hack, is that he promotes himself by leaving the left alone, and attacking the right.
Paul isn’t running against Romney or Obama, he is running against those who can defeat either one of them.

Wrong Paul is a kook racist and nothing that he or anyone else has to say will changed my mind from voting for Santorum....If of course he is still in the race when Washington State votes.

Its the guy making Paul’s ads thats trying to help Romney, or rather he’s trying to help the establishment’s candidate because he wants to be a player in republican politics after the primaries are over. I read about this guy, but I forget what his name is.

I don't see a lot of real content in the ad—just a bunch of name calling and vague accusations. I think Santorum needs some fine tuning in his fiscal conservative ideology, but he is a better candidate for conservatives, both fiscal and social, than Romney or Paul. I also think Santorum had to side with unions and do some other things to be a viable candidate in his state, which is very union. He also followed what the GOP leaders wanted him to do back when those leaders were even more RINO than they are now. From what I can see, he is the best remaining candidate (Perry would be 2nd).
