Democrats control the Senate. Republicans could not have denied this a-hole his confirmation. What am I missing here??!?

Yeah, two Repubs criticized Obama’s unconstitutional move...Oh wow..is that it from Repubs, stand there and criticize Obama and then just walk away...

The only executive example from which the Framers worked was the British King. That King made war on and otherwise abused his North American subjects.

The Framers stuck their necks out and determined that while we needed a chief executive, we had to take precautions to make sure he did not evolve into an elected monarch.

Kings have the sole power to appoint their advisers and ministers. King George III had poor advisors.

As opposed to Kings, Presidents select advisors/ministers contingent on approval by the Senate.

That is, until recently . . .
