Social Security needs to be reformed, yes. But we need to CUT the size and control of government. Defund the EPA and Health, Education and Welfare. Cut government.

No, Social Security and Medicare need to be abolished.

But, until then, we need to make deep cuts in Social Security, Medicare and every other aspect of federal spending.

Ditto ! SS has become a rainy day fund for govt use, and a welfare program. I personally know people who collect, and collect more than most I know ever will, yet they never paid a dime into it! THAT is the problem with SS, not seniors who collect who have paid in all their lives.
