It’s pretty obvious that this SEAL wants to make money - he wrote a book!!!
Regardless, I know what kind of record he has - Ventura doesn’t compare...so easy to know who to believe.
You need to temper your cynical approach to life or no one will rise to your expectations.
Hope it’s good - I plan to buy it for an upcoming birthday present...better than buying “Audacity of Hope”...ugh!
Why even bring this moment up 6 years after the stupid little event?
My guess would be that it’s a great opportunity to show what a jerk Ventura is ...and, as the dude was busy in Afghanistan for a while, then wrote his book so in publicizing he had a public venue so he “shared” his great story when people would listen...

This SEAL better be able to contradict Ventura in this interview or he is going to look like crap.
Ventura is pretty convincing here.

You obviously didn’t read the book. He said something twice, to his face, and Ventura took a swing. The whole story is in the book, but Ventura isn’t named. He is referred to as “Scruff face”.
Ventura is convincing? Ha, okay... Well, then from the story:
“I want to to clear his name because he’s confessing to assaulting me, and it didn’t happen,” Ventura told the Alex Jones Show, adding “I can unequivocally tell you I’ve never been punched in Coronado, California.”
If he’s never been punched in Coronado then he’s never been a SEAL or in BUD/S.
