Since most of Ron Paul's support more than any other candidate comes from the active duty military that are serving right now.

You must think this about our military.

I can assure you that Preemptive war was not what the founding fathers envisioned.

Our country is broke and if we go to war with Iran it will be the beginning of World War III. China and Russia will back up Iran. Oh and finally it will ensure the reelection of Obama since traditionally the people rally around the President during war time.

Keeping in mind they (politicians) are all the same, I’m liking Ron Paul, it would be more of the same bottleneck in Congress when it comes to getting anything done with him being president, a good thing in my opinion until a sane majority rules in the Senate and House. It’s either Ron Paul or I want O’bummer back in until voters finally see and understand what happens when you elect a puppet with no values and no direction other than “We want your money to do as we please with. C-Ya on the golf course.”

Newt would be bearable if he actually did what he said he wanted to do ex. arrest Judges, stop big government, etc. he compromises to much to be effective.

Other than that the current crop are all a bunch of losers distracting from the loss of the ‘rule of law’ with no jail time mentioned for anyone like Holder, Corzine, O’bummer, ATF, banksters, SEC, Congress itself, Homeland Security...the list is endless and basically ignored, even less or representative taxation is a pipe dream.

If the underlying current (Congress approval rating @10%) gave us conservative majorities in the House and Senate who knows what could be accomplished but all for naught as debt coming due will catastrophic.

Ron Paul recently gave us some exposure to the Federal Reserve’s books, I can handle that kinda of crazy.

You are playing a left wing tactic to silence the debate.

You post videos, good. Me post videos, bad. Got it.

Ron Paul recently gave us some exposure to the Federal Reserve’s books

And we learned the Fed loaned out $16 trillion since 2007. And the world yawned.

This was the great, heroic, bipartisan amendment to the Dodd/Frank disaster that we're supposed to feel good about? It did nothing. Even Paul is barely talking about the findings of his "audit" on the stump.

“Obama is already starting to make the moves to destroy our military.
Ron Paul will just drive the knife into their backs.”

And then Ron Paul will twist that knife.

I wouldn’t vote for Ron Paul, for KP. That’s Kitchen Patrol for you youngsters.

He proposes nothing serious in the economic realm. He proposes that we allow Iran to attain a nuclear weapon.

That’s insane.

Ron Paul is doing rather well despite himself. I figure that it has to do with a lot of his stances (not all of them), but if the media was completely to blame for his failure to go beyond his core base of support, he would have ended up like Gary Johnson by now. I don’t think he should “just go away” by any means, but he has his problems.

Oh common this has nothing to do with I'm right you are wrong. It kills me because I really do believe we are the same side. We just have to sort through this stuff we call politics to find a good replacement in the White House.

When I look at Mitt Romney, Newt and even Santorum. It's not comforting....

To be frank I really with Sarah Palin would come back.

What Presidential candidate is not controversial?

One thing she can do though is unite most conservatives.

For the record both of us are winners. We are just trying to figure out this big mess. Have a good night.

What harm can he do to national security? If the Congress want the country to go to war, as is their prerogative, Ron Paul would have no choice but to do so. It is a lot better to have a chief executive that does not want war, than one that does. If he ignores treaties that tie us to defending an ally, don’t you think Congress would have no problem with impeachment? THAT right there, is reason enough to vote him in. Reinstate the doctrine of separation of powers, and a non-tyrannical President.

Apart from the paranoid rhetoric about Paul’s problems, Napolitano is quite often right on the money. But I can’t help but wonder whether it is just the political establishment of both parties and the beltway crowd that is to blame. Voter apathy is the problem even now.

“most of Ron Paul’s support more than any other candidate comes from the active duty military”

Only a tiny percentage of Paul’s support comes from active duty military.

Ron Paul would not be able to do anything destructive to our national security. He is only one part of a three legged stool. The Congress would finally find its pair of testicles, and balance would be restored, at least for the duration. I don’t see how his election could be a detriment. You know if the Grinch or Romney win, we will just have the exact same thing as is happening now. There will be no change.

Thanks for this thread.

The thoughtful video of ‘da Judge left out Paul’s plan to shrink or eliminate 5 departments of the US Federal Government.

Paul is a tad to soft on the topic of drastically shrinking the rotting entitlement crops on Plantation Entitlement, headquartered in The Big House at 1600 Plantation Avenue.

Representative Ron Paul is giving us a preview of what Senator Rand Paul will be using in his Presidential Campaign in 3 years.

BTW, I have this thread bookmarked for reference after Tampa. Tee time or TEA time? Now THAT is the question!

What’s going on is - Judge Nepolitano is a die hard Libertarian

I like him - he is right on a lot of things, but then, falls off the edge - as Libertarians do
