I like his books, and his speeches in general but hes starting to remind me of Doc Brown in Back to the Future.
Wonder what you would look like if the GOP, media and the backstabbing mitt told us what they think of you. I think we'd hardly know you. Newt didn't change, trash talk changed your mind. That's how propaganda works and they use it because it does work!

You know, after a conversation with a friend who really hates Palin, and all he knows about her is what he’s heard from the media, I had this thought: what if Newt is nothing like the media, insiders, the backstabbers, and congressional elite portray him... I keep looking for those traits I keep seeing attributed to him, but I don’t see them. The ethics violations were essentially what they tried against Sarah in Alaska, the trashing, the badmouthing, the self-righteous piety, all of it... what if Newt is really a good guy? It wouldn’t be the first time the media et al have painted a picture of someone that was 180 degrees off based on their preferences... don’t get me wrong, I don’t really care. I support Newt as a bastard, I support him as a nonbastard, but I just wonder sometimes...

I think Newt is giving the MSM plenty to work with recently. I know a political contest is a rough thing and Mitt has certainly used his minions (mittions) to go after Newt. Just saying, it's getting to him. What I don't get is Mitt has all these poll numbers but I can't remember hearing anyone who supports him give any reason except this electability thing. I know I'm going to vote for the GOP guy, RINO or not, and by the time I get to vote in a primary in March it might not make any difference.
