KABUL, Afghanistan A man in an Afghan army uniform opened fire on a group of Americans at a base in the south of the country, killing a U.S. soldier and wounding another, an Afghan military spokesman said Monday.
Spokesman Gen. Mohammad Zahir Azimi said the gunman was also killed in the shootout on Sunday. "Right now, an investigation is going on to determine whether he really was a soldier or someone using an army uniform. And if he was a soldier, what caused the shooting," Azimi said.
Similar attacks have raised fears of increased Taliban infiltration of the Afghan police and army as NATO speeds up the training of the security forces. In some cases the attackers were Afghan soldiers who turned on NATO troops. Others involved insurgents dressed in Afghan uniforms.

So it was an American soldier. For some reason the whores & perverts in the network news called him a NATO soldier all day yesterday.

“obamas fault as surely as if he had pulled the trigger himself.”
The decisions ensuring the loss of the battle in Afpak were made long ago. Zero wasn’t even a Senator then.
And, those decisions had the unhappy side-effect of causing his election to the Presidency.

EVERYTHING that obama has done in Iraq and Afghanistan are leading to the eventual surrender of those countries and the installation of what we were promised would never be allowed to happen again. obama is as much at fault as anything that happened in the past... and I understand and agree with your premise... but obama owns plenty of guilt... he and his party.

Yes, of course Obama has done and continues to do very bad things. No one here has been more critical of him than I.
But the idea that anything other than surrender was possible after 2003-4 is foolish, in my opinion.
The truth of all the waste, all the blood, all the treasure for nothing is brutal. But if we can’t speak the truth, we can’t ever get out of this mess.

We should have killed every moving thing in Afghanistan after 9/11... we should never have allowed that exodus. We should never have invaded Afghanistan or Iraq... we could have bought hussein outright and saved hundreds of billions... but that is just me Jim. Hell man... I want to nuke iran and just walk away.
