Jesus himself said there is no marriage in heaven.

Mark 12:25
When the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.

And then St. Paul also said...

Romans 7:1-2
Do you not know, brothers and sisters—for I am speaking to those who know the law—that the law has authority over someone only as long as that person lives?
For example, by law a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law that binds her to him.

Yes; these verses ARE in EVERY MORMON's bible; but it is OBVIOUS that the MORMON hierarchy has told the members that they do NOT mean what they plainly say.

Well Jesus said it pretty well.When the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage;
they will be like the angels in heaven.

But Andrew Marvell said it better
The grave's a fine and private place,
But none I think do there embrace.

In regard to Mormons and the Bible: The Mormons definitely have the Bible. But then, so do the Muslims. The Muslims consider themselves the Chosen People of the OT, through Hagar and Ishmael. They also have the NT, considering JC as a Great Prophet ... nothing like ole Mo, (MPBUH)... but really big-time.

There are many embarrassing similarities between Mormonism and Islam, then again both are syncretic creeds ... made up of theological bits and pieces. In Islam's case, a melange of Judaism, Christianity, and animism; in The LSD's case, a potpourri of Christianity, OT Judaism, AND Islam, with a little Wicca thrown in. Add a soupcon of POP-PSYCH, SCI-FI and Jung ... and voila, Scientology!

But then, Henry VIII is as radical as I am willing to go!
