If America's top hockey mom decides to make an endorsement in the Republican presidential primary, it doesn't sound like Mitt Romney will win that sweepstakes. (As Katie notes below, Palin's husband has decided to back Newt). Via Fox News:
Her logic is certainly worth considering. The Democrat/MSM playbook against Romney isn't an especially well kept secret. Cast him as an out of touch, greedy one-percenter who "likes being able to fire people." That would be the formula: craven blame shift and nuclear class warfare. If Republican voters believe that dual strategy will eclipse Obama's woeful record as president -- and that the Left's attacks against any of the the other GOP hopefuls will be less effective -- they ought to take that into account as they vote. Another consideration is which Republican campaign will be most adept at anticipating and countering attacks. On one hand, Romney has done a good job of parrying criticisms from his primary opponents in debates and has demonstrated the ability to unrelentingly make Obama the issue. On the other hand, is Team Romney prepared for the avalanche of Bain blowback -- fair and unfair -- that the Left is preparing to unleash? We know they've got at least one rebuttal down pat: That three Bain-backed companies alone created over 100,000 American jobs. But as Jim Pethokoukis points out, those figures only go so far, and the Romney campaign will need to do better. This is a meaningful admonition, particularly in light of today's Wall Street Journal examination of Bain's dealings (verdict: mixed), which Kevin addressed earlier.

Anyone with 1/2 a brain knows Myth is unelectable. The Bain stuff, the preppy warmonger/draft-dodger, the constant flip-flopping - he’s got loser stink all over him.
As someone whose only candidate this time around was Palin, I can`t believe I`m about to say this, but I am rapidly growing tired of her. She is now channeling Donna Brazile? Her commentaries have been nothing new, nothing startling, and where is all of this `kingmaker` talk coming from?
Palin is a powerful voice, but in political power game sit`s `use it or lose it.`
Palin can complain about there being no conservative frontrunner, or she can ENDORSE SOMEONE NOW. If not, and Romney wins, I won`tlisten to a word she says from now on, because I will be convinced she only wants to preserve her rep, not step in where she could actually rally voters behind a conservative candidate.
With all due respect, Gov. Palin, endorse or stop whining about a situation you, more than anyone, could change.
Flame away. But I don`t let any pol off the hook when they are full of beans. Palin is

Once again the obvious is being attributed only to Sarah; the “logic” of Sarah Palin. To her credit, the timing of the remark is what actually hit the mark, and that the media chose to give it some exposure is causing some discussion of the already obvious playbook of the Marxists who want Romney. That is a good thing. For once something Sarah says has mattered.
I tune into Liberal talk radio on the drive to work, and Mitt is the one they are hoping for, no doubt about it.
Now it's reported Todd has endorsed Newt.
I guess when it's down to a two candidates, Sarah will make an endorsement.
She’s right.
The same people who brought you John McCain, are bringing you Mitt Romney. McCain even endorsed him. So did Bush I (with Barbara’s permission, of course).
How many of these corporate raider companies such as Bain would even exist if it were not for the Estate/Death taxes being in existance?
How many companies fall into such corporate raider hands because the family cannot pay the hugh estate taxes—such estate being built with AFTER TAX income in the first place.????
Kill the Death taxes PERMANENTLY & you severely cut to expenses of having to have a trust & the legal fees associated with same, along with families being able to keep the family hardware store, farm, ranch, or restaurant.
Then Bain & other companies are not nearly as busy.
There will always be businesses which were poorly planned & poorly managed from the first jump, but far too many companies are torn apart & sold piece meal because of estate taxes. Either way, jobs are lost. Bain & such companies make a tidy profit.
Mitt has made a large part of his fortune on the bleached bones of many others, IMO.
Devastating video on Romney. Expect more from Obama’s $1B war chest if he becomes the Republican nominee. Blame stupid NH voters.

Romney as the Republican nominee is a disaster in the general election because:
1) Bain - Obama will paint this organization as a Wall Street monster whose only function is to scarf up companies and split them up, fire employees, only to make a profit for the share-holders. Romney, given his distaste to actually fight tough, will give some mealy-mouth explanation that will explain nothing. Advantage - Obama
2) ObamaCare - there is no difference between ObamaCare and RomneyCare, at least none the 3-second-attention-span public will understand. The issue (which is one of the defining issues of this election IMO) will be off the table. Advantage - Obama
3) Everyone has said this will be a down-n-dirty smear-fest election from the Democrooks. Look for 3 stories a day from the MSM, after Romney is the nominee, about how his church, the one he’s been in all his life, didn’t recognize blacks as equal until 1978. Yup, this will be a trash-fest of the Mormon “religion” and it will be vicious and relentless. Advantage - Obama
Election- Obama
Done, go home, the party is over.
But Ann Coulter, who is the smartest person in the room says differently.
I am not certain Sarah is so happy at FOX, who like McCain used her and then abused her. This is an attribution to her own choices and grasp for fortune. That FOX contract that she is stuck in is the last example of what I call her cash for crap campaign effort for fortune. It’s just that FOX co-opted even that. The pundits there have mocked and marginalized her and she is paid to show up and tolerate it, looking last time I saw her months ago, quite bitter, boring and pale.
Maybe in time she will adjust to the field she clamored for and just content herself with being one pretty talker. However, I wouldn’t bank on any originality, or exansive vocabulary, or analytic depth showing up beyond her very ordinary abilities. (Any FReeper could match Sarah-speak on any given day and some far and away.) That was always the case, IMHO.
There are about 300 super rich families that control the world. They give us the Democrats and Republicans so that we can think that we voted someone out of office but they still win. Things will not change much until we get a real party of the people and gain back America. Go Sarah.
Pastor Manning says it right: “Mitt could not beat Juan McPain who could not beat Barry Soetoro, the long legged Mack-Daddy!!!
Who in hell think Roney can beat Barry”???
Sarah is just warming up the Newt endorsement and getting ready for the SC and FL showdowns. If Romney is allowed to win those even Tim Tebow won’t be able to save us.
I was thrilled to see Todd Palin endorse Newt today but Sarah Palin better come out and endorse him also before SC. If she waits around any longer her endorsement will be meaningless. If Newt loses SC its probably over and we are all going to be getting drunk and voting for Willard.
I hope Palin is not screwing around thinking Rick Santorum is going to take hold. Its not going to happen.
