Two senior administration officials say the White House chief of staff, William Daley, is resigning. He's being replaced by Jacob Lew, the budget director.
The change will be effective at the end of this month. President Barack Obama planned to announce it later Monday.

My guess:
Daley was never an insider like Rahm who could neutralize to some extent the role of the “Unofficial Policy Chief of Staff” Valerie Jarett. Jarett would just run all over someone like Daley. Who would want to put up with that?

Certainly no orders from Jarrett and the Oooogly One! 0b0z0 wants to smoke, play hoops, play golf, watch ESPN, have quality Reggie time and no crappy POTUS responsibilities. The broads, if I could call them that as a compliment, are holding the White Doma and keeping the puppet in check lest he runs...away that is!
Jarrett IS ruling the country. She relays Soros' orders to 0b0z0. Daley must have tried to moderate The Kenyan Marxist but to no avail
The rogue bastard is executing orders and appointments like there's no tomorrow...Maybe the Marxist goons and their meal ticket, Soros, realize there is no tomorrow, i.e., a second term!
We're gonna have to dismantle a lot if a Conservative is elected POTUS. That wouldn't be nearly enough unless we triple the balls in the Congress! Kinda tall order, I dare say!
Another Freeper pointed out that Daley is probably needed for this election. He’s a past master of voter fraud, and was the lawyer who led the Al Gore attempt to kidnap the election and prevent Bush from taking office.
Remember what the Ulsterman said about Daley, he was put there to sort of keep an eye on things and try to keep the lid on Jarrett etc. I think the UM also said (but I can’t remember for sure) that Daley would be leaving in a bit.

You remember correctly. The Insider said that when you see Daley leaving you'll know the Dem bigwigs want to distance themselves from Zero.
The Dems know that Zero will sink them downballot this year. We have to watch carefully, but I think there will be increasing pressure for Zero to step aside. The big Dem money does not like him.
