I’m not going to vote for Paul.

But do you think a President should ask Congress for a formal declaration of war before bombing another country like Iran or Libya?

You said No. On this question I side with Paul. Enforcing UN resolutions does not cut it for me.

I said no because I believe, depending on the circumstances, an engagement authorized by Congress is sufficient. In other actions, quick or secret action needs to be taken.

Congress gave the go ahead without useing the term war...If war was said by congress, you'd have to play to win the war and not just doing the old police action like Korea...We haven't won a war since WW2. All stop short of defeating the enemy, the press wouldn't like us winning a war which would require a surrender from the enemies. Thats playing for real and congress has no guts for fighting to win, that's why we have such stupid rules of engagement...tie the hands of the boys/girls in the military so they cannot win, just stalemate like Korea or lose like Nam....

The democrats couldn't get to the mike fast enough to give Bush the go ahead. That lasted for a couple of weeks before they said " This war is lost" jackass Reid democrat...

Did we ever bomb Iran? I guess you are just programmed to think the way your messiah wants you to think, and not able to think for yourself.
