Newt cancelles event in NH. Security concerns.
Pothead poofters pumping Paul for Prez. Spooky.
Hope this makes the 1100 news. Paulbots crash Newt rally forcing him to cancel and supessing his rights to peacefully assemble. Newt may get a bump and Paul may get the derision he deserves.
I just got back from Elm Street (the main drag in downtown Manchester NH). Many out-of-staters here. The Occupy nitwits with their tents are across the street from the CBS news booth and the assemblage of news cameras. Groups of Paulbots also are in front of the Occupy site, blasting some hippy-dippy Ron Paul music while holding Paul for President signs.
Newt’s NH headquarters is only about a quarter of a mile north of these nitwits, in a large-window storefront. It’s no wonder to me that the riff-raff walked up to disrupt his event.
Willard’s HQ is located a half mile south of the Occupy site, but in a far less open storefront than Newt’s.
I wish this state would close these primaries and keep non-Republicans from voting. Of course, we can’t even get picture IDs to prevent non-citizens from voting.
The RATS sure wouldn’t allow this sort of nonsense.
The protesters hailed from a variety of movements, including the local branch of Occupy Wall Street. Others were out supporting gay rights and the campaign of Texas Rep. Ron Paul.
The Paul debris joining with OWS parasites to trample the 1st Amendment about like their crackpot leader tramples other parts of the Constitution. How long is the GOP going to put up with this garbage from Paul and cult?
Thanks for the on scene report. The left (including the Paulistinians) is getting away with this because the Tea Party has given up on street activism already.
Right, and Paultards are just like RATS. In fact, many of them are rats.
Just wait, if Romney is the nominee.
ALL of his speeches will be OWS live-in’s.
That’s been the plan all along.

I heard this on Fox News. I am glad everyone is ok.
I was at Newt’s town hall in Hudson NH from about 4-5:30 PM today. There were about a dozen Paul maniacs just outside the doors, but all they were doing was holding signs and trash talking. I pretty much ignored them. They were gone when I came out.
No OWS trash was evident (unless you count the media).
“Dozens of protesters descended on Newt Gingrichs New Hampshire headquarters Monday night, forcing the former House speaker to cancel a scheduled meeting with supporters. “
I’m a bit disappointed that Newt was intimidated by the jerks. Husseins’ supporters have learned a lot from this. It’s the Black Panther thing enmasse.
I'd guess that most of the Paulbots out there are not gainfully employed, while most Tea partiers have jobs, families, and responsibilities. The Ron Paul music blasters looked every bit the part of the Occupy crowd.
Thanks, also, for an on scene report. How was Newt’s event?
The primary system has failed repeatedly and should be done away with.
In the meantime, accepting that primaries may continue for a few more cycles, the following rules MUST be in place:
1) Only voters registered as Republicans for at least one year before the primary may vote. No late registrations, no independents.
2) All delegate awards MUST be proportional. A state committee could elect a winner-take-all rule, but "winner" would require 67% of voting Republicans, otherwise, delegates would be proportionately assigned. The idea of declaring a "winner" who loses 70-75% of the votes is beyond absurd.
3) The size of delegations to the national convention should be determined by: a) number of votes for the Republican candidate in the last Presidential election: range in 2008 was 98 000 (Vermont) to 4 467 748 (Texas), for every 100 000 votes I would award 1 delegate ; b) number of Senators (R) - one, (10 delegates), two (25 delegates); c) Republican majorities in State Legislature - House (10 delegates ), both (25 delegates); d) Republican governor (25 delegates); e) Number of registered Republicans > 1 year, sliding scale with 10 delegates per 100 000 registered.
I would also mandate a primary calendar with the first primary on or after March 1 and the last on June 30, in inverse order of delegation size.
Really, through, the idea of a bunch of idiots choosing the candidate has to end.
THE OWS freaks did not go to Hudson because they do not own cars.
Why was the event moved from the Legion to the High School?
I’ve asked the same question . Why is that nutjob allowed to use the GOP platform or run on our platform and promote himself at our events?
Like you said Paul is not a republican nor a conservative, he is a lunatic though and should not be allowed to embarrass the party or have his drugged up screw ball supporters disrupt other peoples rallies.
I’m even shocked that anyone could even think of voting for the lunatic as he has seriously lost the plot

The Hudson, NH town hall:
It was supposed to be at the American Legion hall, but was moved to the High School at the last minute because they needed more space.
The town hall was packed. TONS of media, gaggles from at least 2 polling organizations, and a lot of students.
Newt spoke well, as he always seems to. He doesn’t need a teleprompter; he has more in his head than he has time to say. In that he reminds me of Kemp, Cheney, or Rumsfeld. He took a few mild swipes at the “Massachusetts Moderate”, but mostly talked about the economy and the Obama disaster. It was a friendly audience and he was well received.
I think it was his 8th event of the day. He looked exhausted. He and his wife posed for pictures with a lot of the audience at the end, mostly the students. He managed the smiles and handshakes fine, but during the pauses he seemed to wilt just a bit. I don’t know how any of them keep up with all these campaign events.
