I believe for financial crimes in Switzerland they put you in jail, actually house arrest in some hotel, and then do the investigation. Found innocent you are freed, not, you go to the big slammer.

As Paul Erdman, author, put it in one of his novels: Switzerland is where they have two capital crimes, murder and bank fraund with fraud considered the worse of the two.
