Absolutely true: Hussein is going to give props to Lisa Jackson and her thugs at the EPA today.
Obama needs to find 6% somewhere. But where? 55% at least somewhat disapprove and that, combined with a 44% who already somewhat approve means that there is only one percent left.
So, if Obama gets all the 1% he still must find 5% somewhere. If 40% "strongly" disapprove it is unlikely that he will find any in that group and that means that he must find his 5% from the 15% who only somewhat disapprove but not strongly so. That means that Obama must get one in three votes from voters who already disapprove of him at least to some degree.
A daunting prospect.
And especially daunting in view of the fact that these numbers have been holding in these ranges for more than a year. Therefore, the electorate is not volatile in its verdict on Obama. It will take an event of major significance to move these numbers.
October surprise?
