West should be Speaker with Rubio running the hopefully new GOP majority in the Senate

It was really upsetting to find out that redistricting has made his district more RAT ... IIRC by about six percentage points. It’s so important that he keep his seat but it may be quite a challenge.

West has turned his back on the TEA Party, as has Nikki Haley, Scott Brown and others. Why back him; just another politician who promises one thing and does what he pleases after he has duped the people.

West is going to be a star in the Tea Party. I think if he wants to he could be POTUS.

I would take Jim Demint over the choices now but for what ever reason these people decided not to run.

They saw what lay in store and chose to spare themselves, their sanity and their families the meatgrinder attacks that come with Presidential campaigns. Much as I'd rather see them on the field, I can't blame them.

I’d love to see West as a senator... but we’ll have 2 GREAT ones in Rubio and Connie Mack!! Yes, Mack will be senator-elect November 8, along with President Elect Rick Santorum.

I thought I was the only one that noticed that. What I've been hearing is that another Rooney brother wants to run for congress. Here in Michigan Brian Rooney moved to the district just days before announcing for the 2010 race.

They destroyed his district. They moved the lines to include the most heavily registered dumb-o-crat areas in the county. His district was mostly republicans. Not anymore. I don’t know how he will hold onto that seat.
