Two contestants in the Miss California USA competition over the weekend may not have taken home the crown or topped the ranks but they left with a significant place in the competition's history.
Jenelle Hutcherson, 26, of Long Beach, and Mollie Thomas, 19, of West Hollywood, were the first openly gay contestants in the 60 years of the state pageant, whose winner will go on to compete in Miss USA, the national pageant.

The more male they look, the more attracted to each other. I learned that in the Navy while working for a “butch” lesbian before I left in late 1986. It’s the rare exception that lesbians are girlish, and then those are mostly bi-sexual. I live in California. Any questions?

The “decent” contestents should boycott the pageant, first on general principles. Also, I think that behind the scenes, all the contestents are forced to be together in various stages of un-dress, changing clothes, etc. How awful and creepy would it be to have these freaks in the midst of it all? eeewww.

Gay men are over represented on TV because they are over represented in the population of people who work in TV. Lesbians are under represented because gay men really, really dislike lesbians. (Small generalization, I know, but certainly noticable).
In my opinion, the kind of "material" it is is self-absorbed, politically correct bent on being perceived as a "rebel," but who is in fact an egotistical sheep who loves attention.
