Perry is right, we need to keep a sizable force in Iraq to quell any Iranian game playing in the region. We did it successfully in Europe and Japan after WWII, and in South Korea after 1953.

How do you propose we reintroduce troops to Iraq if they don't want our troops there?

I doubt they wanted a full pull out but Obama gave them no choice. What we hear in the American media and what is actual are often miles apart.
