LANDSLIDE: Limbaugh Predicts 2012 Election

Rush Limbaugh predicts 2012 outcome Radio host says pollsters wrong about presidential race

By Joe Kovacs

PALM BEACH, Fla. – While polls across America show Barack Obama in a tight race for president with potential Republican nominees, top-rated radio host Rush Limbaugh doesn’t think the outcome of the race will even be close.

“If the election were today, it would be a landslide loss,” Limbaugh said this afternoon. “Let me define landslide: five to seven points. It’d be big. It would be huge.”

“Make no mistake about it,” he continued. “Of this I am as confident as anything. I know it’s not reflected anywhere else in the media and it’s not reflected too many other places in conservative media. But I’m telling you, he’s toast. Just as Jimmy Carter was toast, and nobody knew it until election night [in 1980].

Limbaugh cited Gallup polling about Obama’s personal approval ratings among voters, and he says the forecast is not bright for the president.

Seems to me, 4 years ago Rush was having fun with Operation Chaos because he wanted to slow down Hilary!.

You remember it backwards. Operation Chaos was to slow down Obama by voting for Hilary and keep her in the race, making Democrats continue to spend money on the running.

Operation Chaos is the leading radio talk-show host’s campaign to urge his conservative listeners to cross party lines to vote for Hillary Clinton. Limbaugh says the aim is to keep her in the race so she can continue battling Barack Obama and create chaos in the party, thereby aiding the Republicans this November.

It depends on who the candidate will be. There is no way Romney or Paul win. There will be a 3rd party and it will be Clinton all over again.

Landslide with a conservative. Failure with or close call with a rino.

I love El Rushbo as much as the next Conservative. But he may be wrong on this one. I think if the election were held today, Bam would win by a few percentage points.

There are just too many drones who don’t get it yet. Incumbents have an advantage that challengers have to compensate for. And Val, Axelnuts and the gang are working behind the scenes day and night on certain constituencies like the military. Bam and Mrs. Bam visit bases all over the place regularly. We don’t hear much about this in the media.

What other tricks do they have up their evil sleeves? What other vulnerable voters will they exploit next?

Finally, the Rats are all laughing at us for the scramble/chaos/disarray amongst GOP ranks. If we can’t find a decent candidate, how will we possibly take down the regime in power?
“They” will employ whatever techniques they need to to win. “The end justifies almost any means” Rules for Radicals

“Barack stood up that day(Dem. National Convention),’ talking about a visit to Chicago neighborhoods, and spoke words that have stayed with me ever since. He talked about ‘The world as it is’ and ‘The world as it should be…’ And, ‘All of us driven by a simple belief that the world as it is just won’t do – that we have an obligation to, fight for the world as it should be.” Michelle Obama

I'm surprised and a bit dismayed by how many FReepers are absolutely certain that Obama is a lock for re-election when his presidency has been a disaster and everyone knows it, despite desperate media attempts to give him cover and questionable polls that always claim Obama is dead even with any Republican challenger. I agree with Rush Limbaugh's assessment.

I also realize that this isn't 1980 and there is no Reagan-like Republican in sight but Obama is worse than Carter and few voters are going to be fooled into believing that if they give him another four years as president he'll 'fix' everything. They now realize that he won't because he either can't or just doesn't want to. Either way, Obama will be defeated. The 'doom-and-gloom' crowd can wallow in their angst and complain all day long about the supposedly lackluster field of Republican primary candidates but I'm more interested in nominating a conservative because, as Rush astutely pointed out, if we nominate another mushy 'moderate' that sounds like a Democrat, we'll lose. The vaunted independents won't see any reason to vote for what is, in effect 'Obama-Lite' and they'll stick with the guy they know (Obama) and hope he improves in his second term. If that happens, I'm convinced that we're very likely to permanently lose the America we know and love and I'm not ready to cede the election and our nation's future to Obama and the left.

Those willing to do a lot of complaining and criticizing but otherwise give up at this early stage and moan that Obama is a sure bet to win re-election, with precious little evidence to support that opinion, are being foolish and self-defeating. Why? More important, why here, on FR? Very odd.

Take a look at these two stickers:

The pictures speak for themselves. The top one shows confidence, the second code.

code/kōd/ Noun: A system of words, letters, figures, or other symbols used to represent others, esp. for the purposes of secrecy.

Insiders can identify it, but most people are likely to miss it.

“I think Rush is right and I think we win with any of the candidates except Ron Paul.”

I think you are correct. There are many millions in America who aren’t worried in least about who Republicans nominate. They are keeping quiet and laying low. In Novemenber they will go to the polls and turn Obama out.

Get ready for the return of the Bradley effect. Obama’s polling will overestimate his strength, and the faces of the lib TV pundits will be priceless on election night.

First. I am NO Paul supporter.

I think even Paul could win. He’s dead on right on most domestic policy. He’s the only one who has said he’ll really cut things. I think that message would sell well to the sheeple.

Past that, he’d loose them. If he tempered his message and hammered zero on spending, he’d clean zero’s clock.

That said, I hope it’s Newt, Perry, or Santorum.

You don’t remember Operation Chaos to well. Rush was urging people to vote for Hillary in order to slow down Zero. Not the other way around.

I’ve lost count of them. But I live near the peoples republic of Minneapolis.

I’ve seen them on rich people type cars (Benz, Lexus, BMW, probably the food stamp vote)

I have seen them on POS smoking shyt boxes (Dope smoking, environmentalist types, college kids)

And many of them on Toyota Prius type cars and subarus.

I have not seen ONE sticker that I can remember for any of the republican candidates other than Ron Paul.

I don’t agree. Few really knew how good and conservative Reagan was. I remember him being kind of a joke as portrayed by the media. It is different now but in my mind Obama is much worse than Carter and ordinary people realize it. Carter had more experience and was less of an idealogical threat.

I agree with Rush.

I don't think Reagan could have won in 1980 if not for the extraordinary circumstances of the most inept (until now) president in decades, an economy in the crapper and disrespect abroad (remember the Embassy captives?). Before his election the MSM had painted a bogus picture of Reagan as a dumb actor with fringe political ideas. But the country was desperate to get rid of Carter and was willing to try about anything to accomplish that. Then, the country found out the media had lied to them (yet again, doh!) and it really was morning in America.

I think Rush is on to something about how 2012 has striking similarities to 1980. The regime can crow all it wants about unemployment "falling" to 8.5%, but the country is hurting and people want this to stop, they want a change. So, I agree with Rush, our not especially inspiring group of candidates have a real shot, IMHO.

He can't issue an edict and suspend the election.
The fact is there is NO national federal government election it just seems that way because of the media narrative. THERE ARE 50 STATE ELECTIONS! Zero would have to get all 50 governors to agree. Now that there might be a few RAT govs (Remember Bev "I-Am-An-Idiot" from NC? SHe got laughed at by everyone!) that might make nosies about trying, but remember these state elections include state and county officials and people running for those jobs. They all want to put their snouts in the public trough. We didn't have elections suspended during the civil war or WWs I & II.
It is not going to happen this time. Who would enforce it? The ATF, TSA home boys from Phillie or Chicago?

That's the Plan, and counted-on by the Establishment Elite, both RINO and Dem.

"I believe Virginia is pivotal in that regard"

Yes; and isn't it a strange co-incidence that ONLY Romney-the-RINO, and The Ralien, aka, Ron Paul, were the ONLY Candidates to be allowed on the GOP Primary Ballot????

THE FIX IS IN.

"So, I put it together. Blacks will vote Obama. They may not turn out as much, but they will vote Obama. Mexicans - Obama. Perceived immigration advantage, and welfare. Those who pay no taxes... Obama. Those who get their news daily from NBCCBSABCCNNMSNBC... will in large part vote Obama. Liberals - No brainer, pun intended, Obama! Republican base unhappy with the nominee... they stay home, that’s like a vote for Obama in my book.

Dead voters, multiple voters, space aliens... Obama.

Blacks vote for Obama.

The DNC and whatever ACORN is today will see to it.

Spells an Obama reelection."

Seeing your screen name, I suspect you have a pretty good view on the way it is in Ohio around big cities. Democrat strongholds, infested with parasites on public handouts, voting to keep the freebies flowin', and rife with Democrat corruption, multi-voting, and stuffing envelopes with (D) absentee ballots.

I, like most conservatives, will have no one on the ballot that I WANT to vote for, but I can't stay home and not offset at least ONE illegal vote.

"I have not seen ONE sticker that I can remember for any of the republican candidates other than Ron Paul"

ANY sticker on a car for other-than-Democrat invites the types who vote (D) to do damage to your vehicle, or worse. That's a fact, and you just risk personal harm and/or vehicle damage to do so, at your own peril.

THAT is what "Freedom" means to a (D).....the Right to destroy others property and livelihood, because they want you to pay their way....
