Having read you post 3 times, I have yet to find where former President bush stated anything near the following:
“Specifically, the DHS announced the NCO and its Office of Operations Coordination and Planning (OPS) can collect personal information from news anchors, journalists, reporters or anyone who may use “traditional and/or social media in real time to keep their audience situationally aware and informed.”
If you remember, Bush was thrashed by many and felt that it was not dignified to respond. Nothing in your copy of the speech rises to the same level.
People knew that if a Democrat took over, he’d take Bush’s tools and run with them.
