Well, it manifests itself in different ways, Different people are affected differently blah blah blah, etc etc etc, take the psychobabble and bend it whichever way you'd like.
*IF* (and I did, in my original post, say 'if') the guy is suffering from it, then he needs help. I've seen the effects of PTSD, and they're lousy. He also needs to have his badge and gun taken away, immediately.
But, you're right. After 8 years, this smells funny.
We have one rule in my house that has lead to twenty-five years of marital harmony. It is considered inviolable, and it applies perfectly, here.
