VIDEO: NH poll workers shown handing out ballots in dead peoples’ names By Alex Pappas - The Daily Caller 1:15 PM 01/11/2012
MANCHESTER, N.H. — Video footage provided exclusively to The Daily Caller shows election workers in New Hampshire giving out ballots in the names of dead voters at multiple voting precincts during the state’s primary election on Tuesday.
The bombshell video is the work of conservative filmmaker James O’Keefe and his organization, Project Veritas.
Voters in the Granite State are not required to present identification to vote. O’Keefe’s investigators were able to obtain ballots under the names of dead voters at polling locations Tuesday by simply asking for them, he said.
“Live free or die,” an election worker told one of the investigators in the video. “This is New Hampshire. No ID needed.”

The NH election laws apply to primary elections just as they do for general elections. This was all legal; that’s the problem. The laws need to be changed.
Actually, the “hero” of the Boston Herald story, the woman who knew the voter had died and who challenged the guy who came in and said his name, MIGHT have broken the law. I don’t know if the law allows the election judges to challenge a person they know isn’t a legitimate voter.
The laws are NOT designed to prevent illegitimate votes. That woman prevented (actually only thought she prevented) an illegitimate vote. She might be in trouble.
I like your idea. This ID crap would stop if every public official, politician, and judge were not able to vote again because somebody without ID had already voted in their name. Best idea to stop the rats I have heard in YEARS.
He was very careful not to accept a ballot.
Just think how many absentee ballots can be cast by going through the obituaries!
A list of dead people which can be used to vote absentee published each day just before an election!
While open primaries puzzle me, Republicans can hardly complain when the dems. pull these stunts after “Operation Chaos” launched by Rush Limbaugh in 2008.

Usually full of college students .... but the blame falls on N.H. and any other state that allows same day registration and/or no photo ID requirement. Vote early and vote often!
I would love to know the locations of these precincts...how much of this was going on? What about the margin between Gingrich and Santorum? What about these clerks? They sound PROUD about ‘easy and convenient’ it is to vote in New Hampshire. These results are all bogus...this should be a huge national news story...Brietbart? Beck? Drudge?

and on top of everything else what is wrong with open primaries etc that also pisses me off.
We start with a north east state which is open and where people from MA, VT come in to vote to choose our candidate and am I the only one thinking none of this is right just as letting non republicans running on our ticket.
Clear and compelling evidence of voter fraud and ‘shenanigans’, and no one seems to be interested. Go figure.

I take your point on Operation Chaos, but I don’t believe the democrat party determines how republicans conduct their primaries.
My point was that established republicanism likes open primaries in order to dilute the conservative vote. As this primary season is showing; it is working.
