Santorum can’t win Florida because of his ill-considered stance on social security.

With all the problems going on, taking a sledge hammer to social security to the extent of threatening benefits to current recipients and other draconian changes was a poor move.

The cane and walker crowd in Florida will not vote for him.

I will never vote for Santorum precisely because of his ridiculous stance on social security.

No one is denying that it needs to be reformed. George Bush tried it and was shot down.

Paul Ryan has a good plan as does Rick Perry. Both involve no changes for people now receiving benefits and people very close to retirement.

It would be a disaster to do the things Rick Santorum suggests and this will kill him in Florida and with older voters.

Older voters may hobble to the polls but they vote far more faithfully than the young.

I will vote for Huntsman before I vote for Ricky S.

A 10 percent cut in SS would not hurt too many people. Santorum should request 25 percent but 10 percent is a start. Of course he can't do a thing because people like you who live off the trough will not like to lose the government bennies.

I’m with Newt because Bachmann and Cain dropped out. I like Santorum and I am on his ping list. Both Newt and Santorum are good guys. But I liked what Newt was saying on Fox News against the Establishment.

While not a fan of SOPA, I believe it will die out long before the Election. But I was a bit unhappy Santorum supports the legislation. However, which ever of the two guys does the best in South Carolina and Florida, I’ll support.

By the time the race gets to my state, which is doing a caucus, it will be two months from now. I don’t know. What I do know is that I feel that the establishment needs to be defeated.

I was also lukewarm with Gingrich back when he was at 4% and I thought either Cain or Bachmann would win the nomination. I also then thought Palin would enter but she chickened out.

So now the choices are slim. I am hoping both Santorum and Newt do well in South Carolina.

After it is all said and done folks. If Romney has won the nomination, I’ll still be bashing him. And there will be no choice since I don’t want or like Romney’s positions, but to pick a third party candidate. Obama and Romney will be the same thing so I’ll take someone who I agree with more.

So that is where I am at. I mostly wanted Paul Ryan, Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain or Sarah Palin to win the nomination and none of them will.

But we still have a chance for a better candidate than Romney.

I would have added DeMint to my list of candidates I wanted. But I am confused on him saying Romney will Win South Carolina or something the other day. If he is for Romney he lost me for now.

What are you, a Limbaugh butt kisser?

I’m not a Perrywinkle, but I know that he has not ever attacked ‘capitalism,’ or did you mean Vulturism?
