Thanks for the additional insights. Skepticism is a lost art.
Suppose the Gov was being threatened by members of the Sinaloa cartel, or his family was. They might pressure him to release one or more of their people. To cover that absurd pardon, the Gov might have pardoned a lot of others to hide the Sinaloa deal.
Just a thought.
Yea, he pardoned a guy who later murdered some cops!
I sure cannot think of ONE logical explanation for these pardons!
It has certainly given lib-dem bloggers fuel for their anti-repub rhetoric.
And I certainly cannot disagree with their arguments against these pardons.
Didn’t Carter spring his daughter’s nanny?
What DOES a trustee do?
One would think with the unemployment in this country, you could find a better crop of folks to work at the governor’s mansion than a bunch of freaking murderers!!!!
I’m just saying...
You all can flame the messenger all you like, I never opined my editorial comments on the issue, I merely stated the facts. The Governor followed long held tradition, and many of the pardoned were domestic staff. Beyond that I presume no one has the actual DOC files, and therefore knows the particulars of each case. If I am wrong I’m sure you’ll correct me.
Didnt this get Huckabee in trouble as well?
~~~Yes.
Good thing the Judge has a conscience.
Thankfully, no.
Doubt if those trustees get paid and if they do, it’s a pittance.
