The next sentence read:
“We don’t do this out of charity,” said 34-year-old Ravi Ahmad, who works for Columbia University and volunteers with Occupy in her spare time. “We do this so that whoever wants to work in the movement can work in the movement. This is a meritocracy.”
Based on the amount of welfare recipients in this country I’m a little surprised it took them so long to realize that free loading is a big problem. Aren’t these the same groups that were trying to overwhelm the system? I guess it is O.K., unless they are overwhelming YOUR system. Welcome to reality occupiers!!!
.... We do this so that whoever wants to work in the movement can work in the movement. This is a meritocracy.
Yeah, that's a laugh. Occupy is a Meritocracy, and earn merit by producing whining complaints and redistribution rhetoric.
This morning I had a big bowl of complaints for breakfast and washed it down with a jug of whining. Then I put ten gallons of redistribution into the gas tank of my car, and walked downtown to pay my utility bill. After a full load of rhetoric, the darn clerk demanded I pay in cash greenbacks, the nerve.
By this time it felt like I hadn't had anything to eat all day, and I still had a long walk to get home.
Good thing Occupy is a Meritocracy.
