That's why a long time ago I said that 2/3 of Americans are brain dead and that includes these so called conservatives.
Exactly my thought. If you are conservative and you even thought of voting obozo then you are disqualified from being a conservative
NEWT will rise again in the SOUTH, if the nation is 40% Conservative why are we having this difficulty in unifying them to support the obviously strongest candidate the Conservatives or Republicans have to offer??
Fat lot of good it does. Our primaries are undermined due to open primary voting. We get stuck with RINOs because of their meddling. Read the Democrat blogs. They gleefully brag about changing outcomes of Republican primaries (from local elections to national) by voting in our primary then voting for Democrats in the general. They've picked out candidates out for us for years! As long as states have open primaries, we will never get quality conservative candidates elected. Personally, I'd like to see the rules changed to if you vote in the Republican primary, you MUST vote Republican in the general. It sickens me to read all their gloating over picking our candidates to run against their partie's candidates. Election laws must be changed.
Doh! Time for caffine. Not “picked out candidates”; I meant picked our candidates. Not “partie’s”; I meant party’s. Sheesh!
The poll is useless. Most people want to think of themselves as middle of the road. A real poll would ask specific political issue questions and then translate the answers into conservative/moderate/liberal.
Didn't chattel slavery (i.e. every descendant of a slave is also a slave) mean that slave owners had an incentive to breed their slaves like cattle? Without Lincoln, the CSA could have become a super-sized Jamaica. Even today, after huge migrations northward, blacks are a bigger presence in the south, percentage-wise, than outside of it. Every state in the CSA is on the list of top 20 states with the largest black populations. Between abolishing slavery and arranging for deportation to Liberia, Lincoln was extremely conscious of the need to limit the size of the black population. Slave-owners in the south were oblivious to it. Lincoln did not merely save the Union - he saved the south from a terminally self-destructive policy.
The only reason the south is solid GOP territory despite large black minorities is this - black block-voting for the Democrats is countered by white block-voting for the GOP. The problem is that blacks are far more race-conscious than whites, and continue to have higher birth rates. The historically misguided policy of importing large numbers of black slaves could eventually lead to the south becoming even bluer than the blue states, considering that of the top 10 states with the highest % of blacks, 8 were CSA states.
The attempted reconstruction of the South continues along with the carpet bagging.
Lincoln was a racist, no question. He wanted to keep the western territories free for the white expansion. That is why he was against slavery in the territories.
I'd have to say that Lincoln was probably less racist than the slave-owners - he did champion the right of blacks to not be slaves, albeit preferably in some other country.
If we out number them then how is it a remote possibility that our “choice” in 2012 will be that lying sack of rotted excrement vs Barack Obama?
Conservatives outnumber liberals.
And yet, the libs control our government and our media.

but but but it is us who are fighting still while they tell us after moving here that we cannot have our flags,no flags on shirts in the schools , , change history and bring their teachers down here.

Liberals also control the entertainment industy put it all together and it spells indocrination or at the very least liberal influence.
So we outnumber libs? does that include the dead people vote?
The most conservative person I know (as far as the way he lives his life) consistently votes liberal. He cannot see the contradiction.
What’s bad about this is the vast majority of those “moderates” have very liberal tendencies, and they stand for NOTHING.
I despise moderates more than I do liberals. I can at least respect an honest to God liberal that is straight up in his beliefs.
