It is a United States ( and Ja@anese ) legal requirement that all fish except tuna be ‘flash frozen’ to extremely low temperatures within hours of being caught. This not only helps preserve the fish during the fishing boat’s remaining time at sea, but also serves to kill parasites that would otherwise be harmful when the fish is ingested. Also , the wasabi spread on the fish before dipping in the soy sauce kills any possible remaining parasites . Take it from the sushiman - sushi is safe , but I would advise going to a shop run by a licensed Japanese sushi chef ( versus Chinese or Korean ) .

Thanks for the link. I noticed that the pesata is expected to track well with the deutschmark -- I guess that means that Spain is expected to recover Euro or no. My wife visits her family in Spain and it seems every time she goes the Euro shoots up to $1.50+. It's down to less that $1.30 the last time I looked.
